Terms & Conditions


We are Mai Travel Destination, LLC,  Travel Agency located in Atlanta, Georgia USA. The following terms & conditions (the "Agreement") describe what you can expect from us. The terms "we", "us", and "our" refer to Mai Travel Destination, LLC and the term "you" refers to the individual who signs this agreement.

Mai Travel Destination, LLC is acting as a "Booking Agent" for products and services that are not directly supplied by us; air and/or ground transportation, hotel accommodations, tours, cruises, etc. We sell a variety of travel related products from different suppliers, vendors and service providers. Each supplier/vendor has their own terms and conditions that are applicable to your particular arrangements in addition to our general terms and conditions. As we are not a co-vendor of such products and services, you will be entering into a separate contract with such suppliers/ vendors in connection with such products and services. It is your responsibility to review and understand these terms and conditions.

DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS
Mai Travel Destination, LLC provides quotes and only accepts USD a form of payment. Initial deposit or full payment is due at time of booking to confirm the proposed components of your itinerary. Unless otherwise stated, all deposits are non-refundable. You will be advised of the Final Payment date when placing your initial deposit to confirm your reservation. Upon provision of your payment information, you are authorizing Mai Travel Destination, LLC to make payment arrangements on your behalf with the corresponding suppliers / vendors. We reserve the right to refuse personal checks and/or cash as a method of payment. 

LATE PAYMENT / FEES
If there is any outstanding balance by the Final Payment Due date listed on your invoice, your trip may be cancelled or a late fee may be added to your invoice. Cancellations policies are set by suppliers and cannot be modified. You will be held responsible for any cancellation penalties or fees. Cancellation and late fees will vary.

IDENTIFICATION
All travelers are required to make reservations under their full name stated on his/her government document they will use for travel. If you need to make any changes to a name after travel documents have been issued, you will be responsible for any name change fees, if applicable. These fees are set by the airline, hotel, vendor and/or supplier. Mai Travel Destination, LLC shall not be held liable if you, the traveler, provides incorrect spelling or delay notifying of us of any legally changed names. It is the travelers responsibility to review all final travel documents, notifying Mai Travel Destination, LLC of any errors. While we will make every possible attempt to make such a change if necessary, please bear in mind that most airlines and suppliers treat a name change as a cancellation, to which standard conditions and charges would apply.

PASSPORTS / VISAS REQUIREMENTS
Many countries require passports to be valid for 6 months beyond the date of travel. Please check that all passports are valid. Some countries require a full blank “VISA” page in the passport for stamping purposes. 

Mai Travel Destination, LLC can assist in advising entry requirements, but it is the sole responsibility of the traveler to ensure that passports, travel documents and entry visas meet the conditions of the countries the traveler is visiting. Any information provided on travel description pertains to US citizens only. Non-US citizens should check with the respective consulate of the country(s) to be visited for current entry requirements. We do not accept any responsibility in the case of you being unable to travel due to not complying with any such requirements.

TRAVEL ADVISORIES / VACCINES REQUIRMENTS
U.S. Citizens should refer to the travel advice posted by the U.S. Department of State at travel.state.gov for all the countries you intend to visit. Vaccinations may be required for some or all of the places you are intending to visit. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have arranged all necessary vaccinations for your itinerary. Mai Travel Destination, LLC does not accept any responsibility in the case of you being denied travel or entry due to not complying with any such requirements.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
All passengers are STRONGLY URGED to take out adequate insurance coverage to protect themselves against cancellation due to illness prior to or during travel. In the event of a traveler becoming ill during a tour, all hospital and medical expenses are the traveler’s responsibility and they shall not be entitled to any refund, either total or partial, of passage money paid. The passenger may incur up to 100% cancellation penalties and should protect themselves with cancellation insurance. If the group cancels prior to final payment and supplier fees being applicable, due to the required minimum numbers not being reached, the premium is refundable providing no claim has been made. In all other cases the premium is non-refundable. 

PHOTOGRAPHIC RELEASE
Mai Travel Destination, LLC may take photographs or video of its trip participants during a trip hosted directly by the agency. Each traveler who travels with the agency hosted group has granted permission to be photographed for use of any promotional or commercial use without payment of any compensation to participants / travelers. Any traveler/ persons who utilizes the hashtags #MaiTravels, #MaiTravelDestination on any social media platform consents to be reposted, shared or utilized for any promotional or commercial use without any form of compensation. 

PRIVACY: 
While using any service offered by Mai Travel Destination, LLC, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (“Personal Information.”). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to your name, address, and email address.

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, authorize payment, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. Your information will never be shared with any third party. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

FORCE MAJEURE
Mai Travel Destination, LLC shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment, of any nature or kind whatsoever, resulting from events beyond our or a supplier’s reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lockouts or other labor disputes or disruptions, wars, blockades, insurrections, riots, earthquakes, weather conditions, floods or acts or restraints imposed by government authorities.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY
Mai Travel Destination, LLC. and/or its agents act only as agents for the client in all matters pertaining to travel. They assume no responsibility nor liability in connection with the service of any train, vessel, carriage, aircraft, motor or other conveyances which may be used, either wholly or in part, in the performance of its duty to the passenger; neither will it be responsible for any act, error, or omission, or any injury, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of any defect in any vehicle or through the neglect or default of any company or person engaged in carrying out the purpose for which tickets or coupons are issued. In the event that it becomes necessary or advisable for the comfort or well-being of the passengers, or for any reason whatsoever, to alter the itinerary or arrangements, such alterations may be made without penalty to the operators. Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the passengers, conversely refund will be made to the passengers if any saving is effected thereby. The airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event, during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyance. The passage contract in use by the airlines concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and the purchaser of these tours and/or passenger. The right is reserved to withdraw any or all tours should conditions warrant, also to decline to accept or retain any passengers as members of the tours. Mai Travel Destination, LLC can assume no responsibility for lost tickets or coupons.

VOLUNTARY ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

Mai Travel Destination, LLC is an independent contractor and no joint venture, partnership or employment relationship exists between you and us or our suppliers as a result of this agreement. We reserve the right at any time to modify or cancel this agreement without prior notice to you. 

I agree and understand that Mai Travel Destination , LLL and/or their agents can accept no responsibility for losses or accidental expenses due to delays or changes in airline/rail or other means of transport schedule, hotel over-booking or default, sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantine or other causes. 

I have carefully read these Terms and Conditions and the booking information sections of this document, and fully understand its contents. I am aware that this is a release of liability and a contract between myself and Mai Travel Destination, LLC and agree of my own free will.
